Truffles

For Valentine's Day, my mom and sisters and I made truffles for friends. The best were the oreo (Luke said he was 'ridiculously impressed' with them), but we also made white chocolate lime coconut that were very good.

Making truffles was fun, and way easier than I thought it would be. Luke and I moved over the weekend, and are going to make up a couple batches to bring to our new neighbors.

  1. What a coincidence! I made oreo truffles a few weeks ago. Based on your picture, it looks like we had a similar (or possibly the same) recipe. They were so good!

  2. Yay for moving! I hope I'm your neighbor. :D

I kinda want that coconut lime recipe, lime is my current favorite flavor for all things food related.

  3. Heather- did the oreo ones mix powdered oreos and cream cheese? I wish we hadn't given them away, because I only got about four, and I could've eaten twenty!

Amy- I'll e-mail it to you. I'm the same way with lime, and ginger too.

  4. Yep! I think we had the same recipe -- right down to the white chocolate coating and chocolate swirls on top. Luckily, Eagan and I weren't being generous, and we didn't make them for anyone but ourselves.
